Many of the software products we provide rely on third-party libraries, and we frequently release updates to keep pace with changes to these libraries.
Until now, CubePDF Utility’s release schedule has effectively been tied to that of the Chromium project, which includes PDFium. However, Chromium is set to move to a two-week release cycle beginning in September 2026, making it increasingly difficult for us to keep up with every update.
We have therefore decided that CubePDF Utility will no longer be updated in lockstep with Chromium. Instead, we will determine the timing of future releases based on a broader range of factors, including updates to other libraries and improvements to the application’s features.
That said, whenever PDFium receives a security update or another critical fix, we will continue to incorporate it as promptly as possible.
